Green Campus

Since its inception, 40 years ago, Manava Bharati India International School , has carried out green practices in our endeavour to become the first sustainable school in India. This is reflected in the following:

  • Long Standing tradition of celebrations of Vanmahotsava with a view to enhance the abundance of green cover on the campus as well as surroundings.
  • The Building design and layout minimises the heat load and while allowing cross ventilation and natural light.
  • Use of renewable energy sources such as Solar Pannels for lighting and Heating.
  • Declaring a NO PLASTIC ZONE on Campus.
  • Implementation of Water harvesting on Campus.
  • Regular Drives to Recycle waste paper.
  • Environmental and Cleaning Drives at regular Intervals.
  • Regular ‘Shramdaan’ to improve our environment and neighbourhood.

A proactive Environmental Club to promote a sustainable Life style and environment consciousness.
