Living at Manava Bharati

The Boarding Block was inaugurated in by Lt. General K.K. Khanna, Commandant, Indian Military Academy. The facility operates in the time tested tradition of the ‘Guru Shishya Parampara’ that seeks to evolve individuals in tune with their own genius. Experienced house parents supervise the boarders’ personal welfare as well as their academic and extra-curricular progress. Boarding students are allocated ‘living spaces’ in accordance to their age group. ‘My Living space’ is a concept where every child has his own alcove or space within the room. The alcove consists of a study, a bed, a storage unit, bookshelves etc. All these are his own to personalize, and are solely his responsibility. Senior children are provided study-bedrooms shared between four children of the same year. Children from middle school have similar ‘study-bedrooms’ that are linked to one another to form interactive spaces for activity based learning. Junior children live together in a larger group-‘play bedrooms’ with spaces for fun & creativity. A Common Room facilitates socializing and informal interaction.
