Uditayan is oriented towards the needs of Pre-Primary (age 3+ years) and Pre-School (age 4+ years) children. It caters for the needs and demands of early childhood learning. As this is the stage when the foundation of a child's personality is laid and two third the intellect is formed, we have created an environment and teaching methods suitable for young learners. Uditayan is the ideal environment to build a foundation for your child’s formal education. Here they learn social skills, free-play, develop verbal ability and imbibe the skills and joy of creating things. They also use their own hands through art and craft that are an integral part of the curriculum. The curriculum is open-ended and focuses on experiential learning. Environmental studies are taught through participatory activities while Life Skills are taught to make students more adaptable in different situations.

The focus at the Pre-Primary stage is on cognitive development and enhancement of language and interpersonal skills. Children are exposed to social and cultural concerns and they are encouraged to think. They are also encouraged to reflect on issues and to arrive at their own solutions. The main objective behind the curriculum is to enable children to communicate effectively and to develop skills as well as creativity needed to grow into confident and independent individuals.
